Dear APPLE Members,

 

See below/attached for important updates and meeting minutes. 

 

Meeting Minutes:

• Attached are the meeting minutes from our networking meeting on 9/16/2025.  You can also find the link to the recording in those minutes.
• At the meeting, Melanie (Children’s hospital of LA) discussed her preceptor training.  I have attached the agenda for that as well.  
• We also discussed a study that Paula Cuthrell (Cincinnati Children’s) used for her DNP project that looked at preparedness to practice.  Here are the citations for the articles that were discussed.

• Duties:  Manage the finances of the organization, Lead any fundraising efforts or grant writing to gain funds for the organization, Give a financial update/report at business meetings and Executive Board meetings

 

APPLE Fundraiser:

• We have raised $737 for our organization to become an official non-profit.  Our goal is to reach $1000.  If you haven’t donated and would like to, please see the meeting minutes (last page) for the QR codes to donate via venmo, zelle or paypal.  Flyer is also attached.

 

APPLE Survey:

• Stay tuned for a survey to go out to all members to benchmark on our profession and what everyone’s structures and responsibilities are.  Results will be posted on the members-only website for use for members (not research).
